Welding Inspector

Job Purpose:
Ensure all welding activities during shutdown and maintenance projects comply with international codes, client specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspection and monitoring of welding processes, consumables, and materials.
• Verify welder qualifications and ensure compliance with WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications).
• Review and interpret welding-related codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Perform visual inspections and coordinate NDT as required.
• Document and report inspection results, highlighting non-conformances and corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Engineering.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI – AWS or CSWIP).
• Preferably API 570/510 certified.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of international welding standards (ASME, API, AWS).

Additional Requirements:

• Must be available in Qatar.
• Must have Turnaround Shutdown experience.
• Must attend client interview via Telephonic or MS Teams.
• Profiles to be submitted with certificate copies.
