Application Developer

Description:

SSI is seeking Application Developers to work on a Navy program in Mechanicsburg, PA. Contract award spring 2026.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing and developing database driven IT applications in one or more software languages such at C++, Java/J2EE, Visual Basic (VB), .net, HTML/XML, Powerbuilder, and/or Delphi.
• Work independently with application code, backend processing, and user interface development.
• Perform standardized testing at the unit, integration and systemic levels to ensure accuracy to requirements
• Support related activities in managing the scope and milestones of the project and/or support of data warehousing, business analytics or ad hoc requests
• Ensure the project AGILE life cycle is being followed and best practices are being employed when writing code and managing tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer or information science-related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in a related information technology (IT) job.
• Must possess at least a Secret security clearance
• Minimum IAT II level certification is required
• Must be able to work onsite
