Application Engineer

Summary

Looking for a Application Engineer to join our Platform Team, focusing on deploying and supporting Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, and Red Hat Ansible Automation. The role involves working closely with the platform team to ensure seamless, scalable, and secure deployments of products on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, OpenShift)

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarity with containerization technologies, like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, and Red Hat Ansible Automation.
• Experience in apache tomcat.
• Experience in Jenkins.
• Manage the container platform “OpenShift and Kubernetes” (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring, deploying and troubleshooting).
• A working Knowledge in handling apache tomcat server and applications publishing, deployment, troubleshooting and support.
• Good experience in integrations and web services SOAP/REST/APIs.
• Good experience in kibana & monitoring tools & features.
• Good to have experience in RabbitMQ and Redis.

Qualifications

• 2+ Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, NGINX ... ) and Working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting LINUX/UNIX OS based environments.
• 1+ Experience with Administrate using containerization, “RedHat OpenShift Container Platform” and its accessory tools.
• Solid Expertise with Kubernetes.
• Expertise working with Ansible, Docker, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, kibana.
• Administer and resolve applications issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis.
• A General understanding of infrastructure and database.
• Sorting skills in service enhancement, documentation, topology designing and monitoring
