Duties and responsibilities:

- Develop and design automated control systems for plant equipment and machinery, and lead projects related to systems and their accessories.

- Conduct scheduled and comprehensive tests to ensure the effectiveness of systems, sensors, and tools related to controlling manufacturing processes. Collect and analyze data and requirements to identify appropriate technical solutions and implement them within the MES system to improve performance and efficiency.

- Identify faults and maintain systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

- Train work teams on the use of systems and provide full support regarding automation technologies.

- Work with production, maintenance, and IT teams to ensure system integration.

- Propose and implement improvements to production processes through the application of automation technologies.

- Prepare technical documentation and reports related to operating and automation systems and their updates.

- Keep up with the latest technologies and innovations in the field of automation and their implementation in the plant.

- Familiarity with and understanding of annual maintenance plans, daily and emergency tasks during the shift.

- Supervise and monitor the maintenance team during the shift to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.

- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to reduce downtime and increase productivity.

- Conduct periodic inspections and reviews to identify areas for improvement and address any equipment or facility issues.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory.

- Maintain daily routine checklists/weekly motor checklists/weekly preventive maintenance schedules/quarterly preventive maintenance.

- Develop and manage a maintenance budget to optimize resources and control costs.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality, and warehouse, to support operational and emergency maintenance needs.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety procedures to create a safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Production Engineering, or Electrical Power Engineering, with a specialization in SCADA or PLC.

- Previous experience with automation systems of at least 5 years, with 7 years in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.

PLC, SCADA, DCS, Lean Manufacturing, LSSBB, Kaizen, TPM are certified skills in systems
