Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer , you will be the technical authority for our power generation projects. You will be responsible for the technical integrity of the generator system, ensuring that engine performance, alternator field excitation, and control logic are perfectly matched to the customer's application-from emergency standby for hospitals to prime power for remote industrial sites.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client specs, load profiles, SLDs, and site constraints; size gensets and select auxiliaries (ATS, fuel systems, silencers, enclosures) and prepare compliant technical proposal.
• Support Sales with pre sales meetings, clarifications, and technical presentations.
• Lead compliance matrices and respond to technical queries during tendering.
• Optimize solutions for cost, footprint & efficiency while safeguarding compliance & reliability.
• Conduct handover to Project Engineering post-award with full technical baseline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred.
• Experience 4+ years in the power generation industry with a focus on application or design engineering.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot "real-world" issues where theoretical sizing meets actual site performance constraints.
• Detail oriented Ability to multitask
