Application Engineer - Electrical Design

(Mid-Level, 2-5 years years UAE experience)- Full Time

Supply Chain: Diesel Generators - Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

1. As a Design Application Engineer, you are required to meet all daily targets set by your reporting manager while maintaining productivity and composure during high-stress project delivery windows.

2. Preparation of AUTOCAD design drawings (advanced level), sales quotations, specifications, submittals, site coordination with suppliers and contractors, customer training, final documentation, O&M Manuals, SAT, FAT Procedures, etc.

3. Adhere to company procedures, the ISO manual, the updating of software and co-ordination with principals/manufacturers.

4. Follow project-specific warranty and claim procedures for specialized systems and principals.

5. Obtain approval from a consultant or a government agency for testing, commissioning, and execution.

6.Completing the daily targets, making customer contacts, and reporting to customers, principals, project managers, and the general manager

7. Establish and maintain necessary contacts with Government Departments and end users for completion and handover of delivered equipment.

8. Keep detailed records of all payments made to the project, supplier, contractor, or subcontractor.

9. The company's additional commercial work with government departments and other offices.

10. Manage assigned staff to achieve divisional objectives.

11. Material management and ordering for installation, as well as subcontract management.

12. Any other task assigned by the reporting manager.

13. Participation in additional project streams involving compatible products, IT systems, and services.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

Only candidates with Engineering Degrees in Electrical, Electronics, or at least Electro-mechanical Engineering field will be selected.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task while keeping track of others.

Advanced AUTOCAD skill in engineering drawing is mandatory.

Technical Proficiency in electrical engineering applications is a mandatory.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English is mandatory.
