Position: Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical – Substation Protection)
Duration: 8 Months (extendable / transferable to other projects)
Salary: AED 14,000 + Single Status Benefits

Role Overview:
We are hiring an Assistant Resident Engineer (Electrical – Protection) for a Substation project . The candidate will supervise electrical protection works, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of protection systems in substations.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
• Review protection system designs, method statements, and testing procedures.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, and contractors for technical clarifications.
• Prepare progress and technical reports for management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in substation protection works.
• Strong knowledge of IEC standards, relay coordination, and testing.
• GCC/UAE experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: Up to AED14,000.00 per month
