Application Engineer (Pumps)

We are looking for a skilled and technically sound Application Engineer with a background in the pumps industry. The ideal candidate will support the sales team and clients by offering technical expertise, preparing pumps selections, technical submittals, and providing engineering solutions tailored to customer requirements. This role bridges the gap between sales and engineering, ensuring optimal performance and system design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements and propose technically accurate and cost-effective solutions.
• Perform calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing using pump software tools.
• Prepare technical submittals, BOQs, compliance statements, and system schematics.
• Support the sales team during pre-sales and post-sales activities with product presentations and technical clarifications.
• Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and project managers to ensure project success.
• Provide technical training and guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Analyze tender documents and assist in preparation of bids and quotations.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and product developments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compatibility and performance of proposed equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1-5 years of experience in application engineering or technical sales support.
• Strong knowledge of pumps
• Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience in project execution or site coordination is a plus.
• Knowledge of control systems and BMS integration will be an advantage.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
