Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to ensure smooth application availability and reliability. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, deploying new releases, and resolving incidents to maintain critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure application availability and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Perform health checks, monitor alerts, and assist with service restoration.
• Manage application deployments, rollbacks, and software installations.
• Troubleshoot end-user incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide fixes.
• Monitor systems and ensure stable execution of applications.

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with containerization (RedHat OpenShift).
• Strong knowledge of web application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Nginx, WebLogic).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix OS administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Java, XML, web services, and APIs.
• Good command of Unix shell/commands.
