Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve analyzing system performance, troubleshooting problems, and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless operations. You will engage with different stakeholders to gather insights and implement effective solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the systems in place. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for system support. - Document and maintain records of issues and resolutions to enhance knowledge sharing. - 2 to 3 years’ Experience in HFC/Fiber Network Planning and designs. - Good Knowledge in Telecom Network Topologies in FTTx, EPON, GPON, GEPON, and COAX Network. - Hands on experience in CAD/GIS design tools such as QGIS, map info, spatial Net GIS, AutoCAD. - Good Experience in High level planning and Network Design, As-Built designs, Desktop QI & Defects resolution. - Should be able to perform RF designing the Amplifiers, nodes, taps and power calculations. - Should be able to prepare Bill of Materials/Bill of Quantity (BOM/BOQ). - Should be able to provide support for ad-hoc and Field Engineering requirements. - Should have good logical thinking with engineering standard documents analysis and expert skills in source documents interpretations. - Should be able to interact with client and clear the queries on priority bases. - Candidate should have a very good understanding of field construction. - Good English communication (Oral and Written) skills. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Engineering Planning and Deployment Solution. - Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures. - Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. - Ability to design and implement network solutions that meet business needs. - Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in network management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Network Engineering Planning and Deployment Solution. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
