Applications Scientist

Zing Recruiting has partnered with a great "natural" ingredients company within the odor control industry who has offices in both Illinois and Indiana. Currently they seek a Scientist or Chemist who has applications experience and Mass Spec experience, either GCMS or LCMS. Position is on site Monday-Friday during day hours which offer some flexibility depending on whether candidate likes and earlier or a later start. TEAM IS GROWING!

Qualifications Include

• Must have PhD in Chemistry
• Experience running GCMS / LCMS
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to work with sales, customers, etc.
• Ability to travel - up to 25%
  
  

Responsibilities Include

• Provide scientific insight during customer meetings
• Conduct product demonstrations - including odor panel testing and gas sampling in customer field environments
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments
• Design test methods supporting new product development
• Contribute to customer education including sharing technical articles, training materials, etc.
• Collaborate with R & D as well as operations teams on pilot - scale trials
• Support regulatory submissions
