ResponsibilitiesInstruct: The job holder will be expected to deliver and supervise instructional activities in relevant subject areas according to the approved syllabus, conduct demonstrations, and visit relevant areas of interest.
Assess: Conduct regular assessments to ensure cadets are progressing academically and phase end examinations to confirm training objectives have been achieved.
Discipline: Adopt and promote independent learning and a military ethos, provide ongoing evaluation of cadets' discipline, and counsel and motivate cadets on academic and discipline issues.
Record: Record cadets' academic assessment results, any discipline issues, and use the training management system to maintain accurate, up to date, orderly records.
Report: Provide regular reports on cadet academic progress, lesson attendance, and discipline, and report any other relevant issues when required.
Develop: Regularly review and update courseware and assessments, recommend changes, apply configuration control procedures, recommend acquisition of new materials, integrate new courseware, ensure equipment maintenance, and contribute to timetables and instructor allocation.
Other Duties: Ensure SHE policy compliance, undertake mandatory training, adhere to company standards of behavior, provide feedback to improve service, and perform additional tasks as requested by line management.
Job RequirementsRelevant master's degree (preferably an MSc) or equivalent; completion of a one year postgraduate teaching or Instructional Technique course or equivalent; at least five years of recent instructional and teaching experience; experience in design and development of courseware and training materials; fluency in English (IELTS 6.5 if non native); IT literacy with Microsoft Office experience; ability to work independently and as a team; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
