Madison Grove Post Acute is a skilled nursing facility in Redlands, CA. We are a large VERY BUSY Skilled Nursing Facility looking for 1 AMAZING individual to join our TEAM. Medical setting experience and medical terminology knowledge are required to be considered. Scheduling experience is desired. YOU are the right person if you can work independently, multitask, work well under pressure, are organized, can think outside the box, and have a great follow through ethic. Duties:
- Schedule appointments for patients when ordered by a doctor, work with nursing staff to ensure patient is prepared for appoinment, gain authorization from insurances, schedule transportation to appointments, after the appointment track any new orders and coordinate with nursing and schedule follow -up appointments as needed
- Verify patient information, update medical records, and ensure accuracy of data
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointments
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing documents

Experience:
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare field is preferred
- Familiarity with medical records management and medical scheduling systems is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
