AR Specialist Medical Billing

Location: I-9/3 Islamabad

Work Hours: 5PM-2PM/6PM - 3AM

Requirements (MUST HAVE):

Minimum 2 years of Experience

Excellent Communication Skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and follow up on unpaid insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize high-value or aged accounts
• Work on claim denials by identifying root causes and taking corrective actions
• Submit appeals with proper documentation to insurance companies
• Verify patient eligibility, coverage, and benefits when required
• Post payments and adjustments accurately into the billing system
• Communicate with insurance companies via calls or portals to resolve claim issues
• Handle rejections, resubmissions, and claim corrections as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
• Coordinate with coding and front desk teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain detailed notes and documentation for all follow-up activities
• Meet daily/weekly productivity and collection targets
• Identify trends in denials and suggest process improvements
