We are seeking an experienced and motivated AR Team Lead with a strong background in US Medical Billing and Accounts Receivable management. The ideal candidate will lead a team of AR specialists, ensure timely claim follow-ups, manage denials, and improve collection performance to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the AR team handling US healthcare claims.
- Oversee daily AR operations, including insurance follow-ups, denial management, and payment posting.
- Ensure timely follow-up on unpaid or underpaid claims to maximize revenue recovery.
- Monitor claim aging reports and implement strategies to reduce AR days.
- Coordinate with payers, insurance companies, and clients to resolve claim-related issues.
- Identify and escalate trends in denials or payment delays to management.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate AR team members to ensure high performance.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AR (Medical Billing / US Healthcare industry).
- Strong knowledge of US healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), insurance guidelines, and denial management.
- Hands-on experience with medical billing software/EMR systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze reports and drive performance improvements.
