Overview
    Glendale International School, Dubai, is seeking a passionate and experienced Arabic A Foundation Stage (FS) Teacher to join our dynamic Early Years team. As a British curriculum school, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child develops a love for learning and a strong foundation in the Arabic language and culture. The successful candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a child-centred approach to teaching, ensuring that our youngest learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities
    Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Arabic A lessons that align with the Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and school curriculum.
    Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of young learners.
    Use a play-based and inquiry-driven approach to develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Arabic.
    Differentiate instruction to meet the needs and abilities of all learners, ensuring progress for both native and non-native Arabic speakers.
    Maintain accurate and ongoing records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
    Collaborate with FS teachers, teaching assistants, and the Arabic department to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning experience.
    Create and maintain attractive classroom displays and learning resources that promote engagement and language development.
    Participate actively in school events, assemblies, and Arabic cultural celebrations.
    Uphold the school’s vision, values, and safeguarding policies at all times.
Skills Description
    Strong command of Arabic (A Stream): Native or near-native fluency with excellent communication and literacy skills.
    Early Years expertise: Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and child-centred, play-based learning approaches.
    Creative and engaging teaching style: Ability to design fun, meaningful, and interactive learning experiences for young children.
    Classroom management: Skilled at creating a positive, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment.
    Assessment and observation: Proficient in monitoring student progress, maintaining records, and using assessments to inform instruction.
    Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
    Cultural awareness: Sensitivity to the multicultural context of Dubai and a commitment to promoting Arabic language and heritage.
    Adaptability and innovation: Flexible and open to new teaching strategies, digital tools, and curriculum developments.
