Arabic Packaging & Compliance Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Arabic Packaging & Compliance Designer on a short-term contract to support our product portfolio expansion. The role will focus on Arabic labeling, packaging compliance, and brand adaptation for the GCC and wider MENA markets, with hands-on responsibility for designing, reviewing, and preparing product labels for registration ,print and digital use.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and translate Arabic product labels in line with UAE and GCC regulatory requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with local labeling standards (ingredients, nutritional facts, allergen declarations, expiry dates, Halal and certification logos).
• Adapt brand elements and packaging layouts into Arabic while maintaining brand consistency.
• Use label design and printing software to develop print-ready packaging files.
• Collaborate with internal teams to review and approve final designs before printing and distribution.
• Conduct market research on competitor packaging and branding trends in the region.
• Prepare and maintain organized documentation of label drafts, approvals, and final versions using Google Workspace Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides, Gmail, etc.).
• Provide support on Arabic copywriting, product descriptions, and promotional assets.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Native or fluent Arabic speaker with excellent translation and copywriting skills.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC food labeling regulations (experience with ESMA, Dubai Municipality, SFDA is a plus).
• Proficiency in label design/printing software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW, or equivalent).
• Adept in Google Workspace Suite for documentation, collaboration, and project tracking.
• Experience in FMCG, food labeling, or brand development preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
