Architect Engineer – High-Rise Building Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect Engineer with strong expertise in high-rise residential or commercial building projects to join our construction team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for architectural design coordination, technical review, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations while supporting project execution from concept through construction.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and design details for high-rise building projects.
• Develop concept, schematic, and detailed architectural designs based on project requirements.
• Review contractor submissions, material submittals, and technical specifications.
• Ensure architectural designs comply with Dubai Municipality and UAE building regulations.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, and interior design teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Attend project meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Manage and track architectural deliverables in line with project schedules.

Site & Construction Support

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work complies with approved drawings.
• Resolve design-related technical issues during construction.
• Monitor architectural quality and ensure finishing standards are maintained.

Authority Approvals

• Handle submissions and approvals with authorities such as:
• Dubai Municipality
• Trakhees
• Dubai Development Authority (DDA)
• Nakheel or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Proven experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• UAE or GCC project experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM software.
• Experience in 3D modeling, visualization, and design documentation.
• Good understanding of UAE building codes, standards, and approval procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Requirements

• UAE driving license (preferred).
• Membership in a professional engineering organization.
• Experience working with developers, consultants, or contracting companies in Dubai.
