Architect & Interior Designer

Interior Designer responsibilities include:

• Undertaking design project from concept to completion
• Defining project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
• Interpreting and translating customer needs into rough plans

Requirements

• Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
• Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design programs
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• BS degree in Interior Design or similar

Outstanding Visualization Skills; Understanding of Construction Technologies; Visual Communication Skills; Attention to Detail; Drawing Skills; Ability to Work With Three-Dimensional Designs; Inventiveness; Interest in People and the Environment; Knowledge of Building Codes; Registration with the Architect's Registration Board; Minimum of Two Years Combined Study and Practical Experience; Written and Oral Communication Skills; High Levels of Creativity; Ability to Work Well Under Pressure; Willingness to Work Long Hours; Analytical Mind; Problem Solving Skills; Strong Leadership Skills; Ability to Work Well on a Team; Project Management Skills
