Summary of the role:

The Architect Intern will participate in the technical design of high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. The role involves supporting the design team and management in the development of design concepts, preparation of drawings, and coordination of project tasks across various stages of design. Additionally, the intern will assist in the preparation of technical shop drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project documentation, while contributing to day-to-day architectural activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing architectural design concepts in line with project briefs and client requirements.
• Support the preparation of architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate client meetings and assist in preparing agendas and meeting minutes as required.
• Assist in the production of 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to support coordinated project delivery.
• Prepare technical shop drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) as required.
• Assist in data collection, project documentation, and file organization.
• Support research on materials, building systems, and architectural trends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technologies to support innovation and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:

• Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
• Basic knowledge of architectural design principles, space planning, and building concepts.
• Familiarity with architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations, and details).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of architectural drafting and documentation standards.
• Understanding of 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization techniques; experience with 3ds Max is preferred.
• Good experience in AutoCAD software or Revit is a plus.
• High attention to detail with strong technical accuracy.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively through drawings and presentations.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and respond positively to feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building systems is an advantage.
• Interest in staying updated on architectural trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Working conditions and Environment:

• The position is hybrid in Riyadh, KSA.
• The position has no international business travel requirements.
