Architectural Design Engineer – Data Centers Project (KSA Based)

Project Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience Required: 8–10 years

Data Center Experience: Minimum 3–5 years (Mandatory)

EGEC is a leading engineering consultancy and project management firm delivering complex, high-performance infrastructure projects across the Middle East. We are currently executing a major Data Center building project in Saudi Arabia and are looking to hire an experienced Architectural Design Engineer with strong Data Center expertise to join our project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage architectural designs for Data Center buildings, including layout planning, zoning, and functional coordination
• Ensure designs comply with Data Center operational requirements, security, redundancy, and safety standards
• Coordinate closely with Structural, MEP, HVAC, and Electrical teams to ensure full integration of building systems
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions for accuracy and compliance
• Support authority approvals, client reviews, and design coordination meetings
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and Data Center standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• 8–10 years of total professional experience
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in Data Center building projects (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Data Center architectural planning and coordination
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
