Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and creative Architect to design, plan, and oversee construction projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that designs meet client requirements, local authority regulations, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Develop project concepts in line with client requirements and budget
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and authorities
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and samples
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design compliance
• Ensure projects comply with local building codes and regulations
• Assist in obtaining approvals from relevant authorities
• Address design issues and provide technical solutions during construction

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience (more for senior roles)
• Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and building codes
• Strong design, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• High-rise building experience
• Site supervision or architectural supervision experience
• Fit-out and interior works experience
• Gulf / Qatar experience MUST

Note: Minimum 10 years in preparing drawings- High end Fit out works in 5-star Hotels This requirement is for our hotel project, and we are looking for the candidates who can join immediately with UPDA.
