Architectural Design Manager

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented senior Architectural Design Manager  to lead the early-stage planning, visualization, and execution of architectural projects. This role focuses on massing, area calculations, conceptual design development, and project coordination, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders, consultants, and contractors throughout the design and construction process.

Compensation packages AED 16,000 + benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Design & Massing Development

• Develop  pre-concept designs , massing studies, and area calculations that align with project requirements.
• Create  architectural briefs  integrating research, market demand, and operational needs to ensure functional and efficient design solutions.
• Continuously explore  innovative design methodologies, materials, and technologies  to enhance architectural outcomes.

Design Coordination & Execution

• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers  to streamline the design, tender, and project budgeting process.
• Prepare and present  detailed project briefs  for external architects and designers.
• Develop and review architectural renderings  for interiors and exteriors, ensuring design accuracy and high-quality visuals.
• Lead the  coordination of pre-concept designs  with external architectural teams.
• Conduct  design reviews , ensuring alignment with project objectives, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide  value engineering recommendations  to enhance cost efficiency without compromising design integrity.
• Oversee the  development of materials, finishes, and BOQs  to ensure project feasibility and quality.
• Research and source materials, furniture, and finishes, ensuring availability and compliance with design standards.
• Review  consultant reports and design documentation , providing critical feedback where necessary.
• Analyze  construction tender packages , identifying qualitative and quantitative aspects of design execution.

Construction Supervision & Quality Control

• Support and oversee  construction, fit-out, furnishing, and project handover phases  to ensure quality execution.
• Work closely with  project managers and consultants  to oversee external parties during construction.
• Facilitate  meetings with stakeholders , including consultants, contractors, and authorities, to address design and construction challenges.
• Monitor project timelines, ensuring smooth progress and timely completion.
• Implement  quality control measures  to guarantee that final execution aligns with design specifications.
• Ensure all  authority submissions  comply with local regulations.
• Provide  problem-solving support  during construction to resolve unforeseen challenges efficiently.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare  presentation pitchbooks , including  design concepts, project descriptions, and supporting materials .
• Adjust designs to accommodate  operational requirements  while preserving architectural integrity.
• Develop  design and architectural manuals  for brand consistency across multiple projects.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proficiency in : AutoCAD, Revit (or other 3D modeling software), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture  or a related field.
• Strong understanding of  building codes, regulations, and construction processes .
• Ability to  work collaboratively  with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.
• Exceptional visualization and design conceptualization skills  with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative projects.
• Excellent  communication and presentation skills  for stakeholder engagement.
