Architectural Draftsman

.Key Responsibilities

• Create Technical Drawings: Develop detailed drawings, schematics, and plans for buildings, machinery, and other products using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs and incorporate feedback into drawings.
• Revise and Update Drawings: Modify existing drawings to accommodate changes in design specifications or project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct Site Visits: Occasionally visit project sites to gather data, verify design specifications, and ensure that construction aligns with the drawings.
• Maintain Documentation: Manage and organize project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and revisions, to ensure easy access and compliance with project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD Software: Strong knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks is essential for creating and modifying technical drawings.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate and detailed drawings, with a keen eye for precision and quality.
• Mathematical and Spatial Skills: Strong mathematical skills and spatial reasoning abilities to understand and create complex designs.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and present ideas clearly.
