Architectural Draftsman

Organizes structural, electrical, and mechanical designs. Draws plans for foundations, buildings, and structures

based on instructions provided by engineers and architects. Visits job sites to gather data needed to complete designs.

Determines the types of materials needed and calculates the quantity to be ordered.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Create Technical Design drawings (2D) for Architectural Drawings for all stages schematic design, detailed

* Coordinate directly with Design Engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify

* Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating technical drawings and coordination work and

superimposed drawings

Qualifications, Experience and Education

* Associate degree / diploma in architectural Drafting.

* Minimum 5+ years relevant working experience.

* Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and Rivet, etc

Knowledge, Hard/Soft Skills and Abilities

* Excellent technical communication skills with engineers.

* Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities.

* Experience working in a team-based environment.

* Experience in site investigations and construction review.

* Ability to work under pressure.

* Able to work within strict deadlines.
