Architectural Draughtsman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draughtsman to support our design and project teams by producing accurate technical drawings and documentation for architectural projects. The role involves translating design concepts into detailed drawings for planning approval, construction, and coordination with consultants. The draughtsman will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawings meet design intent, regulatory requirements, and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
• Convert concept designs and sketches into accurate technical drawings
• Assist in the preparation of drawings for planning submissions, tender packages, and construction documentation
• Revise and update drawings based on design development, client feedback, and consultant coordination
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
• Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants
• Maintain drawing registers and manage revisions and document control
• Assist architects with design development and technical detailing
• Conduct basic site measurements and incorporate site data into drawings when required
• Support the project team throughout all stages of the architectural process

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD essential; Sketchup, Revit or BIM experience an advantage)
• Strong understanding of architectural construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
