Role Purpose:
To provide architectural support within the technical office, ensuring that design intent is accurately translated into construction documents, coordinated across disciplines, and aligned with client requirements and authority regulations. The engineer will play a key role in managing shop drawings, material submittals, and design coordination for diverse project types.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Design Review & Drawing Preparation

Review architectural drawings and coordinate with structural and MEP teams.

Prepare and revise shop drawings, coordination layouts, and finishing details.

Ensure compliance with design standards, client specifications, and authority codes.

Material Submittals & Finishing Coordination

Prepare architectural material submittals and technical comparisons.

Coordinate with suppliers and site teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.

Verify finishing materials and architectural elements against approved samples.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain logs for drawings, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.

Prepare as-built drawings and architectural documentation for handover.

Support in preparing progress reports, variation claims, and client presentations.

Technical Coordination

Liaise with consultants, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve design conflicts.

Attend coordination meetings and contribute to planning and execution strategies.

Ensure architectural works meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory standards across all project types.

Qualifications & Competencies

The candidate must hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
from an accredited university.

Prior experience in technical office roles is preferred, especially in residential, commercial, or healthcare projects.

Proficiency in
AutoCAD

Revit

SketchUp

MS Office
is essential. Familiarity with
