Architectural Engineer

K5 Engineering Office is a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Ajman, UAE, delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-performance architectural and engineering solutions across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects.
We are now seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer to join our growing design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed working drawings that align with project goals and client expectations.
• Ensure all designs comply with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and international best practices.
• Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to deliver fully coordinated, high-quality design solutions.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and construction modifications to maintain design integrity.
• Lead and participate in client meetings, design coordination sessions, and technical workshops with authorities and stakeholders.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior architects and draftsmen to support their professional growth.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of proven experience in architectural design within the UAE, preferably with consultancy background and experience in high-rise or mixed-use projects (G+10 or above).
• Software Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and other design and visualization tools.
• Knowledge: Excellent understanding of UAE building codes, Ajman Municipality procedures, and international design standards.
• Advantage: Membership in the UAE Society of Engineers or equivalent professional certification.
• Languages: Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
