Architectural / Interior Designer – North Miami (Full-Time)
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 + Bonus Structure
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through innovative design solutions and possess strong technical skills in various design software. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovations, remodeling, and lighting design, contributing to both residential and commercial interiors. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent project management abilities, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a comprehensive understanding of construction and budgeting processes.
Duties
- Develop conceptual interior designs using software such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create detailed drafting and construction documents that adhere to client specifications and building codes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets; present design proposals effectively.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the renovation or remodeling process.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and color schemes based on color theory principles.
- Prepare presentations that showcase lighting sales strategies and interior concepts.
- Oversee the implementation of designs on-site, ensuring quality control during construction or renovation phases.
- Draft contracts and manage project documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Assist in sales efforts by providing expert advice on lighting design, remodeling options, and space planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in CAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, color theory, lighting design, remodeling processes, construction practices, and budgeting techniques.
- Familiarity with project management tools to coordinate timelines and resources effectively.
- Ability to interpret client needs into functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces.
- Strong communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Experience working with contracts related to interior projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of lighting sales strategies and renovation processes is a plus.
