Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Metal Foreman to supervise and manage site and workshop activities related to architectural metal works. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and fitters, ensuring high-quality fabrication and installation of metal works including façade support systems, structural steel, and decorative architectural elements.

Key Responsibilities Site & Workshop Supervision

• Supervise daily activities of metal technicians, fitters, and welders.
• Ensure proper execution of fabrication and installation works as per drawings.
• Coordinate between site, workshop, and project engineer.

Installation & Execution

• Oversee installation of:
• Handrails, staircases, and balustrades
• Cladding support structures
• Gates, canopies, and steel frameworks
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing quality.

Technical Coordination

• Read and interpret shop drawings and ensure correct execution on site.
• Coordinate material requirements with production and procurement teams.
• Assist in resolving site technical issues and modifications.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure all works meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Enforce safety regulations and toolbox talks on site.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure defect-free installation.

Team Management

• Assign tasks and guide technicians and fitters.
• Monitor productivity and work progress.
• Train junior staff on proper installation techniques.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in architectural metal / steel works.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a Foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong ability to read and understand shop drawings.
• Hands-on experience in fabrication and site installation.
• Knowledge of materials: mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum.
• GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred.
