Full job description

• Client Consultation: Meeting with clients to discuss their design preferences, budget, and requirements for the space.
• Space Planning: Developing layout plans that enhance the flow and function of the interior space, taking into account factors like lighting, furniture placement, and accessibility.
• Material Selection: Choosing appropriate materials, finishes, and colors that align with the design concept and the client's taste.
• Furniture and Decor: Selecting and sourcing furniture, decor, and accessories that complement the overall design.
• Project Management: Overseeing the implementation of the design plan, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Trend Awareness: Staying updated with the latest trends in interior design, including new materials, technologies, and sustainable practices.
• Technical Skills: Utilizing design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, 3DMax) to create detailed drawings and 3D models to present to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture.
• 3-5 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills.
• Proficiency in design software.
• Good project management and organizational abilities.
• Valid Qatar ID is required.
