Job Responsibilities:
1. Regional Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations across all branches within the designated region, ensuring all delivery and logistics commitments are met.
- Monitor and evaluate overall branch performance, identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality and service standards across all regional branches.
2. Agent Management & Oversight:
- Supervise external agents, ensuring full compliance with company standards and delivery policies.
- Monitor agent performance within the assigned geographic region and assess their adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain continuous communication with agents to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth day-to-day workflows.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management, recommending necessary actions to improve agent efficiency.
- Ensure agents consistently achieve quality benchmarks, on-time delivery targets, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Foster and develop strong relationships with agents, ensuring their alignment with the company’s strategic operational goals.
3. Performance & Operational Efficiency Optimization:
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each branch to ensure targets are successfully achieved.
- Analyze operational processes to identify opportunities for increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to branch managers on optimizing workflows and boosting overall productivity.
4. Team Leadership & Management:
- Manage and direct branch managers, ensuring operational objectives are achieved at each location.
- Develop and train branch managers in leadership skills and operational management techniques.
- Foster a collaborative and professional working environment across all regional teams.
- 5. Communication & Coordination:
- Continuous Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with branch managers to ensure operations align with the company's overall objectives.
- Liaison Role: Act as the primary point of contact between senior management and branch managers to ensure the smooth flow of information and the correct implementation of policies.
- Meeting Organization: Organize periodic meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and evaluate new initiatives.
- 6. Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution:
- Issue Resolution: Address major operational issues within the region and provide immediate, effective solutions.
- Managerial Support: Provide support to branch managers in resolving complex problems faced by local teams.
- Crisis Management: Manage emergencies or exceptional circumstances that impact daily operations.
- 7. Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Budget Oversight: Manage the operational budget for the region's branches and ensure strict control over operational costs.
- Expense Analysis: Analyze expenses and identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Resource Optimization: Monitor resource utilization and ensure maximum efficiency and ROI (Return on Investment).
8. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all branches adhere to company policies and local regulations regarding delivery and transportation services.
- Safety Supervision: Oversee the implementation of safety procedures and ensure required standards are met to maintain the safety of employees and drivers.
- Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer satisfaction levels and continuously work on improving the quality of service provided.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Operations Management or Branch Management, preferably within the logistics or delivery/collection sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple regions and monitor performance across different geographical locations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide practical solutions for performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and logistics operations management software.
- Fluency in English is a must.
