Area Sales Manager

We Meliorate Health are pleased to inform you that our company is offering the designation of Area Sales Manager for suitable candidates. Please read the JD mentioned below for more details about the role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote company pharmaceutical/nutraceutical products to doctors, pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare professionals in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular doctor visits and product detailing as per daily call targets.
  • Generate prescriptions and ensure demand creation for company products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, and distributors.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility across assigned retail and institutional outlets.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly primary and secondary sales targets.
  • Coordinate with stockists/distributors for order generation and timely supply.
  • Organize and execute promotional activities, CMEs, doctor meetings, and camps.
  • Collect market intelligence regarding competitor products, pricing, and new launches.
  • Submit daily call reports, expense statements, and weekly territory reports.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand territory coverage.
  • Resolve customer queries and provide post-sales coordination support.
  • Represent the company in local medical events and promotional campaigns.
  • Follow company compliance and ethical promotion practices at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Science / Life Sciences / Any Graduate (B.Pharm preferred).
  • Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical field sales preferred.
  • Good knowledge of medical sales and doctor-calling practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Target-oriented with good convincing ability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability with healthcare professionals.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Two-wheeler license preferred for field travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
