Area Sales Manager (ASM) - Solar

India

Job Purpose

To develop and expand the channel network of dealers, distributors, and vendors for solar products, ensuring strong market presence, achieving sales targets, and maintaining long-term relationships with partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, appoint, and develop dealers, distributors, and channel partners in assigned territory.
  • Build and manage a strong channel sales network to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct regular visits and meetings with partners to ensure proper support, motivation, and alignment.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies, schemes, and promotional activities for channel partners.
  • Monitor stock availability, collections, and partner performance.
  • Train and guide channel partners on solar products, pricing, and selling techniques.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and share regular feedback with management.
  • Ensure proper documentation, agreements, and compliance with company policies.

Gender: Male

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in Channel Sales / Dealer-Distributor Management
  • Knowledge of solar industry / renewable energy products preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and good in territory management
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple stakeholders effectively

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Master preferred
  • 1–6 years of experience in channel sales (Solar, Electrical, Power, or similar industry)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel development
  • Age: 20 to 35 years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per year
