Job Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented Area Sales Manager with extensive experience in the retail footwear industry. The ideal candidate will oversee operations across multiple stores, drive sales performance, lead and motivate retail teams, and ensure an exceptional customer experience at all assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple retail footwear stores
- Achieve and exceed area sales targets and revenue goals
- Monitor store performance, KPIs, and sales trends
- Train, supervise, and motivate store managers and sales teams
- Maintain high customer service standards across all outlets
- Plan and implement sales strategies, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Oversee inventory management and coordinate with supply chain teams
- Analyze market trends and monitor competitor activities
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance reviews for management
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 4–7 years of retail sales experience, preferably in footwear or fashion retail
- Proven experience managing multiple store locations
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Excellent skills in sales planning, performance tracking, and reporting
- Sound knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory control
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail reporting tools
