Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee and manage multiple retail footwear outlets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in footwear or fashion retail sales, with proven expertise in driving revenue growth, managing store operations, and leading high-performing teams. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure operational excellence while maintaining exceptional customer service standards across all assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations of multiple retail footwear stores
- Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets
- Monitor store performance through KPIs, sales reports, and business analytics
- Lead, coach, and motivate store managers and sales teams to maximize productivity
- Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service across all outlets
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Oversee stock management and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business growth opportunities
- Prepare regular performance reports and present insights to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company standards for visual merchandising and store presentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 4–7 years of retail sales experience, preferably in footwear or fashion retail
- Proven experience managing multiple store locations successfully
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Demonstrated expertise in sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail reporting systems
