We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager – Sports Nutrition to manage and grow sales operations within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies, expanding market presence, and leading the field sales team to achieve revenue and distribution targets for sports nutrition and performance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement area-level sales strategies in line with national and regional objectives.
- Manage, coach, and motivate Sales Executives to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, gyms, fitness centers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and promotional execution within the assigned area.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure stock availability and smooth supply chain coordination for uninterrupted sales operations.
- Prepare and submit regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and territory analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and promotional guidelines.
Requirements
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fitness and GYM enthusiasts will be strongly preferred.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market insights for informed decision-making.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging sales targets.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduation (Science) / MBA / Pharm-D / BS in Nutrition Sciences or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales or area management
- Experience in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, Sports Nutrition and FMCG industry
