  • Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships for TMT steel products within the assigned territory. This role requires a deep understanding of the local construction market, dealer/distributor network, and competitor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Revenue Growth:
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for TMT steel products.
  • Expand market share by onboarding new dealers, distributors, and contractors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Dealer & Distributor Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Ensure timely supply, payment collection, and resolution of dealer concerns.
  • Market Analysis & Competitor Tracking:
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Suggest pricing strategies and promotional schemes based on market insights.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Conduct site visits to meet contractors, builders, and project owners.
  • Organize product demonstrations and promotional activities for brand visibility.
  • Reporting & Coordination:
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and update management on performance.
  • Coordinate with logistics, accounts, and other departments for smooth operations.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of TMT steel products and construction industry
  • Dealer/distributor management experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate (B.Com/BBA/Any degree); MBA in Marketing preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in TMT steel, building materials, or construction sector
  • Proficiency in local language and basic computer skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Sales revenue vs. target
  • New dealer acquisition & retention rate
  • Market share growth in the territory
  • Timely reporting and customer satisfaction

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
