
Job Description

Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.

Foster a positive classroom culture focused on student engagement, motivation, and active learning.

Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and academic performance.
-
Develop and implement creative teaching strategies and activities to cater to diverse learning needs.
-
Establish clear classroom rules and expectations for behavior and routines.
-
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student development and well-being.
-
Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student growth.
-
Assist in the planning and organizing of school events and functions (eg inter-house competitions, concerts, school plays, prize days etc).

Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
-
Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.

Qualification:
-
A minimum of bachelor's degree in Art.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Proven teaching experience of minimum 3 years
