Part Time Qualified Mental Health Professional (LPC, Psych RN, or LCSW)

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide behavioral health services at the Elbert County Jail in Georgia. This position offers the opportunity to support an underserved population while working alongside an experienced healthcare team in a secure and structured correctional setting.
With approximately four hours per week, this role is ideal for a behavioral health professional who wants to remain clinically engaged, supplement an existing practice, or provide meaningful support in a flexible environment. Services may be provided on-site or through telehealth, depending on provider preference and facility needs.
Location: Elbert County Jail – Georgia
Schedule: Approximately 4 Hours Per Week
Flexible Scheduling Available
Service Delivery: On-site or Telehealth
Role: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
Conduct mental health evaluations and assessments for incarcerated patients
Provide brief counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health support
Collaborate with the medical and nursing team to coordinate patient care
Develop and document treatment recommendations and mental health notes
Assist with identification and monitoring of patients with behavioral health needs
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN)
Active license in the state of Georgia
Experience in behavioral health, counseling, psychiatric nursing, or correctional healthcare preferred
Comfort working with diverse and underserved patient populations
Ability to pass a background check and obtain facility security clearance
