Overview:
The Aviation Maintenance Production Control (PC) Clerk lead operates under the direction of the PC Manager, participating in the coordination and scheduling of aircraft to meet contractual operational readiness rates and customer mission requirements. Plan, schedule, and optimize all scheduled maintenance actions to provide maximum flexibility in aircraft availability and readiness for the MNG Aviation Command. Streamlines work processes to reduce maintenance cycle time and enhance aircraft maintenance operations and readiness.
During the 1st Shift ASB Production Control Clerk lead ensures that all related operations are conducted in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes daily maintenance organizational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated OR rates.

Reports inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance and supporting maintenance activities to the QC Manager.

Conducts daily production control meeting for coordination and synchronization of all aviation maintenance support functions.

Coordinates maintenance training activities and requirements with the Training Manager.

Responsible for coordinating with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for matters relating to aircraft maintenance, airframes, warranties and downed aircraft recovery team (DART) activities.

Completes all aircraft and daily status reports IAW AR 700-138.

Other duties as assigned and or directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.

Experience:
- Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainers course or civilian equivalent training and experience. 5 years cumulative experience in aviation maintenance.

5 years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician.

Former Aviation Quality or Production Control preferred.

Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.

Possess a valid U.S driver’s license and Passport.

DD214 required for military experience.

Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, background checks, passport etc.

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a military maintenance unit.

Strong knowledge of military logistics procedures and regulations.
