Position Summary:
The Asphalt Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of asphalt materials used in construction projects. This is a traveling position. The role involves monitoring production, conducting tests, and maintaining records to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor asphalt production at the plant and on-site to ensure materials meet project specifications.
Conduct field and laboratory tests.
Inspect asphalt paving operations to ensure proper placement, compaction, and finishing.
Identify, document, and report quality issues or deviations from specifications.
Maintain accurate and organized QC records, including test results, reports, and certifications.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams regarding quality control findings.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Assist with troubleshooting production or paving issues as needed.
Stay updated on industry standards, specifications, and best practices for asphalt quality control.
