Responsibilities:
- Using preset procedures and sequences, carry out repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies. Braze copper pipes and components using a variety of techniques.
- Tasks include getting copper components and pipes ready for brazing, soldering, pressure testing, purging, and/or vacuuming of refrigerant lines.
- Read, understand, and apply method sheets and assembly diagrams, in addition to following verbal (written and oral) directions to meet product specifications.
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
- Maintaining and inspecting tools and equipment as well as creating work orders for their necessary repairs.
- Be knowledgeable, follow, and understand all applicable safety rules and procedures.
- Follow up the production plan and report daily performance.
- All other duties as assigned by the Production Engineer.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Brazing certification is required.
- Experience (typically 3+ years) in pipe fitting/brazing, manufacturing, or other related fields.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with data charts, specification diagrams and work orders is a plus.
- Familiar with gas capsules and their safety issues.
- Familiar with 5S method.
- Strong understanding of brazing techniques.
- Ability to handle physical workload in a manufacturing environment; subject to temperature variations, mechanical parts, varied noise levels, and dust.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Safety conscious.
Behavioral Requirements:
- Ability to handle the mass production harsh environment.
- Good communication attitude which helps them for teamwork.
Practical Test:
The shortlisted candidates will be scheduled for a practical test to assess their skills and abilities.
