Cutting Coring Technician

We are looking for a Cutting & Coring Technician who are specializes in cutting, coring, and sometimes demolition work, typically in concrete, asphalt, or masonry. This role is crucial in construction, renovation, and civil engineering projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Concrete Cutting: Using saws (hand-held, wall-mounted, or floor) to cut concrete slabs, walls, or roads.
• Core Drilling: Operating core drills to make precise, circular holes in concrete or masonry (e.g., for plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Wall Sawing: Cutting openings for doors, windows, or vents in concrete walls.
• Wire Sawing: Used for cutting large or awkward concrete structures where traditional saws won't work.
• Demolition Prep: Supporting selective demolition or controlled removal of structural elements.
• Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning, maintaining, and inspecting tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Job Site Safety: Following strict safety procedures and regulations (often working with PPE in hazardous environments).
