The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asset, Logistics & PMV Manager to oversee the management of plant, machinery, and vehicles within our client's construction projects in Dubai. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient asset utilization, optimizing logistics operations, and maintaining our fleet to support timely project delivery and operational excellence. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies for effective management and maintenance of plant, machinery, and vehicles (PMV). - Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery and availability of equipment and materials across construction sites. - Monitor asset performance, utilization, and maintenance schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. - Manage procurement, leasing, and disposal of equipment in alignment with project needs and budget constraints. - Oversee the safety compliance and regulatory requirements related to PMV and logistics operations. - Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to align asset and logistics plans with project timelines. - Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and KPIs related to asset management and logistics. - Lead, mentor, and develop the asset and logistics team to foster a high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in asset and logistics management within the construction industry, with particular expertise in plant, machinery, and vehicle operations. - Experience with tower cranes, within a contracting company. Familiarity with company assets a plus. - Strong knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance processes, and safety regulations in the UAE. - Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
