ASSET MANAGER/ CONTROLLER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Asset Manager to oversee the planning, allocation, tracking, and maintenance of company assets, including scaffolding, tools, and machinery. The role requires strong coordination with project teams, effective inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The candidate should have prior experience or knowledge in scaffolding systems within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall asset planning, forecasting, and utilization across multiple project sites
• Coordinate procurement of scaffolding materials, tools, and machinery as per project requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure effective stock control
• Allocate assets to project sites and monitor their movement and usage
• Track materials and equipment to ensure accountability and minimize loss
• Schedule regular maintenance, inspections, and servicing of assets
• Ensure scaffolding safety, compliance, and adherence to industry standards
• Monitor rental equipment usage and control associated costs
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for asset requirements and planning
• Maintain proper documentation and asset records in line with company procedures
• Prepare utilization reports, audit reports, and asset performance analysis
• Implement measures for loss prevention and damage control
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage, and material handling
• Supervise storekeepers and logistics personnel
• Ensure timely delivery and return of materials from sites
• Support implementation and use of ERP or asset tracking systems
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation
• Manage asset lifecycle including depreciation and disposal planning
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and maintenance services
• Continuously improve asset management processes and systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum [X] years of experience in asset management within the construction industry
• Mandatory experience or strong knowledge in scaffolding systems and materials
• Good understanding of inventory management and asset tracking systems
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to visit project sites occasionally as required
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and safety regulations
• Experience in handling large-scale construction assets and logistics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
