The Asset Manager is responsible for maximizing the financial performance and value of a portfolio of multifamily properties across FL. This role focuses on executing business plans, overseeing property management, analyzing financial performance, and driving strategic decisions to optimize returns.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Performance & Strategy

Develop and execute business plans for each multifamily asset

Monitor property-level performance against budget and underwriting

Identify opportunities to increase NOI (rent growth, expense control, ancillary income)

Lead hold/sell/refinance analyses and recommendations
Financial Analysis & Reporting

Review monthly financial statements, variance reports, and KPIs

Maintain and update cash flow models and valuations
-
Oversee annual budgeting and reforecasting processes

Track capital expenditures and ROI on renovations
Property Management Oversight

Serve as primary liaison with third-party property management companies

Monitor leasing activity, occupancy trends, and marketing effectiveness

Conduct regular asset reviews and site visits

Ensure alignment with business plan and ownership goals
Capital Projects & Value-Add Execution

Oversee renovation and repositioning projects (unit upgrades, amenities)

Manage timelines, budgets, and contractor performance

Evaluate return on capital improvements
Investor & Stakeholder Communication

Prepare investor reports and performance updates

Support capital calls, distributions, and investor inquiries

Collaborate with acquisitions, development, and finance teams
Market & Portfolio Analysis

Analyze market trends, comps, and competitive positioning

Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis

Recommend pricing and leasing strategies
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field

MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
Experience

5-10+ years of experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, or related field

Direct experience with multifamily properties required

Experience with value-add or institutional portfolios is a plus
Skills & Competencies

Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

Proficiency in Excel (ARGUS is a plus)
