We are now looking for an enthusiastic and career-focused Assistant Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for ACCA students, accounting graduates, or school leavers looking to begin their career in accountancy. No prior experience is required, and you will receive full support to learn and grow in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and data entry using cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)

Reconciling bank accounts and financial records

Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT returns

Supporting payroll and pension processing
-
Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

Learning the basics of corporation tax and self-assessment returns
Requirements
Essential:
-
ACCA student, AAT qualified, accounting graduate, or equivalent

Good numeracy and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills

Willingness to learn and take initiative

Good verbal and written communication skills
Desirable (but Not Required)

Basic knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar

Previous internship or part-time accounting/office work
