Assistant Accountant

Job Summary:
The Assistant Accountant supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with reporting and budget monitoring. The role ensures compliance with accounting procedures and contributes to the smooth operation of daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reports.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions and ledger entries.
  • Support invoice processing, payroll entries, and expense tracking.
  • Help monitor budgets and analyze basic financial variances.
  • Maintain accounting records, files, and financial databases.
  • Assist with audits and resolve minor discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or commerce.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and accounting software.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
