Assistant Accountant

  • Assist in maintaining financial records and general ledger entries
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
  • Support payroll processing and expense tracking when required
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for financial queries
  • Assist in audits by providing required financial data and documents
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance role
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (ERP knowledge preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UAE/GCC experience preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Experience in handling VAT is an advantage
